Alison Krauss is one of the most well-known and successful Country Singer who was born on the 23rd of July 1971 in Decatur Illinois United States. LeAnn Kymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is an American bluegrass and country vocalist. Her first job was in the world of music from a young age. at the age of 10 years old, she took part in local contests, and then recorded her debut album. The year 1985 saw her joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. Then, she was invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. The first album she released as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
