LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James has been widely acknowledged as the greatest of all time basketball players. Michael Jordan is usually compared in discussions about who's the greatest player. James is the winner of four NBA Championships and Four NBA MVP Awards as well as Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has 2 Olympic Gold Medals. James holds the record for having the top score of points in the post-season, second best total career point total and seventh most career assists. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was picked for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011 and 2018. In 2021 James was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to accumulate 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media for his potential as an NBA star. In 2003 it was the year that it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He soon became one of league's top players and was awarded the NBA MVP award in 2009 & 2010. James signed a free-agent contract in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered among the most controversial free agent moves in sports history.
