April Bowlby is an American model and actress. Her roles included Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her portrayals as Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a comedy series that is a legal, fantasy drama and comedy. Her first job was modeling, then films and TV programs. The first time she appeared was on small screen as an extra for the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The show came with appearances in one-off episodes on other shows. Her most memorable part was Kandi, in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is famous throughout the world for the role she played in the role of Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby portrayed Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American series on the web called Titans. She will play the role in an upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby was also featured in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. After appearing on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her first film), and From Prada, to Nada she made her debut on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby attended East Union High School in Manteca, California. Her move to the area was as a young child. She took ballet classes and French in Moorpark College before deciding to take on an acting career. She was a drama student alongside Ivana Chubbuck. She got a role in a major TV show (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) within months of her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby is well-known for her appearances in various TV series, such as CSI (as Kaitlin in 2004), CSI: NY (as Jenny Lee in 2006), Freddie: Sydney in 2005 and Stacked: Jasmine as of 2007 as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg in 2007. More recently Bowlby took on the role of Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who lost her mother in a car crash. Bowlby portrays Mia on the set of The Slammin Salmon a 2008 comedy. She resides in Los Angeles. Her natural hair is red with blue-green eyes. Her relationship is not a family affair.
