Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is a famous American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning show, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and attended West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree from 1983. In 1985, she was awarded her Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past at The US Attorney. She worked as a NPR legal correspondent. She served as "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She was tenured professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has been an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
