Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop style after she drew the attention of people with "Starry Eyed,"" along with "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the forefront, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music as well as independent hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her talent for writing emotional songs are what make her unique. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big contract.
