Jennifer Tilly is an 'Academy Award'-nominated American-Canadian actress and a professional poker player at the highest level. Her birthplace is Los Angeles, US, Tilly started her acting career in the year 1983 when she was a part of the television show 'Oh madeline' where she essayed a small role. Her film debut came in 1984's film 'No Small Affair,' following which, she's been unstoppable often appearing in multiple projects a year. She started her career well. Her beginnings were marked by minor roles in popular shows like "Hill Street Blues," "Cheers," and "Frasier." The latter is more than what a new actor would have hoped for. In Woody Allen's "Bullets over Broadway," she was granted the long-awaited break that led her to become an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress.
