Sadoski began his stage career in the theatre, working as an assistant to Mark Ruffalo (Mark Rosenthal) in an Off-Broadway production the Second Stage Theatre of Kenneth Lonergan's critically acclaimed play This is Our Youth. This was the first of many productions performed by the New York-based theatre company. He has been in numerous Off-broadway and Broadway productions. He also appeared in various regional theatre productions. In 2008, he originated the role as Greg in Neil LaBute's play Reasons to be gorgeous for MCC Theatre alongside The Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. After a sold-out Off Broadway run the play was moved to Broadway in April 2009. It earned three Tony Award nominations, including Best actor and Best actress: Marin Ireland, and three Drama Desk Award nominations for Best Actor and Best Director: Terry Kinney. [6] Neil LaBute gives credit to Sadoski for the noted shift in the tone of being attractive, which was inspired by the playwright's earlier works. "His own thoughtfulness, good heart and help me not to fall back on anything I'd previously done," he said. My plays tend to end darkly. I've always believed that that was the way of life in real life, that there are always shades of gray, but the actor helped me recognize other colors in the palette." He was the original Trip Wyeth character in Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities, for which he won an Obie Award (and a Lucille Lortel Award). The Outer Critics Circle named the play as the Best New Off-Broadway Performer in 2011. Sadoski was also seen on Broadway with Ben Stiller, Edie Falco, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alison Pill in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves
